Our residents had the good fortune again this year to indulge in some fresh air winter skating in the heart of our community at Kilbirnie Park. The operation of the Kilbirnie Outdoor Rink has been made possible by the very generous efforts of a group of dedicated volunteers who have contributed many hours, day and night, to bring this skating opportunity to our community for the enjoyment of all. Thanks to our volunteers for another great season at the Kilbirnie Outdoor Rink!
The SCA would like to extend a special shout-out to Pierce Hill Farms who has donated their snow removal services at the Kilbirnie Outdoor Rink this past winter. This has been such a big help; especially following those heavy snowfalls that Ottawa is famous for. For those who don’t know, Pierce Hill Farms provides residential snow removal services in our area. When you see their green tractors give them a friendly wave to thank them for their community involvement!
