The City of Ottawa is moving forward with the construction of a roundabout at Longfields Dr and the south leg of Golflinks Dr. The City’s Municipal Design & Construction Branch has tendered the Longfields/Golflinks roundabout project and Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited had the best value bid. The plan is to have Cavanagh complete the underground works and build the roundabout up to base course asphalt this fall. They will leave the project functioning as a roundabout for the winter using temporary measures. The concrete, final lifts of asphalt and landscaping will be completed in the spring/early summer 2020.
