A message from the Stonebridge Working Group (SWG):
The SWG would like to invite all Stonebridge residents to attend an important follow-up community meeting scheduled for September 30th at 7 PM. The SWG plans to present a summary of the Community feedback received to-date on the Proposed Golf Course Solution and the option of a Special Levy, review the adjustments that have been made based on community feedback, and present all new information and clarifications obtained over the past two months. At the completion of the presentation, the floor will once again be opened up to your questions.
The SWG has also submitted a report to City Councillors Jan Harder (Ward 3), Carole Anne Meehan (Ward 22) and Scott Moffatt (Ward 21), outlining the work that has been completed to date and making a formal recommendation to proceed with a city-administered vote on the proposed levy. The SWG has requested that this is tabled at the City’s October 1st meeting of the Finance & Economic Development Committee (FEDCO).
